Ljubljana – The green capital of Slovenia (from Velden)

Ljubljana (Ljubljana), with 293,000 inhabitants, is known for its green spaces, including the extensive Tivoli Park. The banks of the Ljubljanica River, which winds through the city and separates the old town from the modern business center, are lined with cafes with outdoor terraces. Ljubljana has numerous museums, including the National Museum of Slovenia with its historical exhibitions and the Museum of Modern Art with Slovenian paintings and sculptures from the 20th century.

The city offers an interesting mix of different cultural traditions and is one of Europe's new top culinary destinations.
