Through the Roman gorge to Lake Saissersee

From the ship pier in Velden we go through the town to the French Church. The path through the Roman gorge towards Saissersee begins here. This small moor lake is located in the Jeserz nature reserve and is particularly valued for its natural beauty. We continue around the lake to the “Veldener Kanzel”. Here we enjoy the view of Velden, Lake Wörthersee and the Karawanken. We return to Velden through the Teufelsgraben. The difference in altitude is approx. 170 m and the walking time is approx. 2 hours.

10am meeting point at ship pier 1 Velden (opposite Schlosshotel)
