Lorenziberg Round to the Gauerstall

The Lorenziberg is located in the municipality of Frauenstein in the district of St. Veit an der Glan. There is a small church on the mountain that was first mentioned in documents in 1330. It is also the destination of the annual Four Mountain Run.
Our hike leads over an easy hiking trail to the Lorenziberg at 971 meters and becomes a little more difficult at 1129 meters to the destination, the vantage point at the Gauerstall.
The paths are easy to walk on, but you still need to be in good physical condition and sure-footed. Gags and hiking sticks with a large plate are an advantage but not absolutely necessary.
In about 3 hours, 7 km and 370 meters of altitude are covered.
If the snow conditions allow it, the route down from the Lorenziberg is also ideal for tobogganing.

Meeting point: 10am parking lot at the church on Lorenziberg, at the foot of the Lorenziberg, near Obermühlbach, 450 m in front of the Nußberg branch church

Duration: about 3 hours

Dates: Thursday 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th February 2024
