On the Glückswanderweg to the hidden mountain chapels

From the parking lot in Tallach we walk along a beautiful forest path in the direction of Maria Elend. Here we visit the pilgrimage church with the famous Gothic winged altar. It continues steeper uphill in the direction of Bergkapellen. On the way we make a detour to the "Christ spring", where our drinking bottles are filled with (according to popular belief) healing water. The source comes directly from the mountain and pours out of the heart of the large statue of Christ into a stone basin.
We take a break at the two mountain chapels at an altitude of 781 m and enjoy the great view of the beautiful Rosental. The difference in altitude is about 250 m.
