On the Glückswanderweg to the hidden mountain chapels

From the car park in Tallach we walk along a beautiful forest path towards Maria Elend. Here we visit the pilgrimage church with the famous Gothic winged altar. The path continues steeply uphill towards the mountain chapels. On the way we make a detour to the "Christusquelle", where our drinking bottles are filled with (according to popular belief) healing water. The spring comes directly from the mountain and flows from the heart of the large Christ statue into a stone basin.
We take a break at the two mountain chapels at a height of 781 m and enjoy the great view of the beautiful Rosental. The difference in altitude is about 250 m.
